Dr Sunita Samal is an obstetrician & gynaecologist having 22yrs of experience .
She is practicing at MGM Health care, Nelson manikam road & Metro clinic , Annanagar, Chennai. Her areas of special interest are high risk obstetrics, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, vaginal surgeries, pelvic ultrasonography etc.
She also gives services to adolescent gynaecological problem like PCOS, fertility related issues, menopause related problems & general women health.
She is a member of FOGSI & OGSSI (Obgyn Society of Southern India) which takes lead in many health awareness programs, seminars and conferences in educating women and also updating the consultants in recent modalities in management of various obstetric and gynecologic disorders .
She is also a member of AMASI(Association of minimal access surgeons in India) & IAGE(Indian association of gyn endoscpy) and perform various minimally invasive surgeries like laparoscpic removal of uterus, fibroid, laparoscopic sling surgeries for prolapse uterus, ovarian cyst removal and ectopic pregnancies.
She is a member of ISUOG ( International Society of ultrasound in obs & gyn) and performs early obstetric scan, pelvic USG for diagnosing gynaecological pathology, follicular monitoring for infertility women.
She has also expertise in fertility related treatment like ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination (IUI)
She is also involved in various wellness health camps, awareness programmes conducted by medical and nursing colleges.
